The Genizer HandGenizer is a portable, hand-driven high-pressure homogenizer for concept testing up to 30,000 psi, offering a low-cost alternative to compressed-air-driven high-pressure homogenizers. Its lightweight, small-footprint design allows convenient hand operation without any need for compressed gas, making it a practical choice for small-scale formulation screening, and it can double as a high-pressure pump for sanitary applications such as liposome extrusion. Pressure builds through an adjustable three-stage system — 10,000 psi, 20,000 psi and 30,000 psi — with flow rates from 25 to 50 mL/min depending on the target pressure, using a diamond interaction chamber for consistent particle-size reduction.
