FT-NIR

FT-NIR spectroscopy is widely used for quality control in industries like pharmaceuticals, food, agriculture, and chemicals. It offers a fast, non-destructive alternative to time-consuming wet chemical methods and chromatography. With no need for sample preparation or hazardous chemicals, FT-NIR provides quick and reliable qualitative and quantitative analysis. It is ideal for raw material identification and accurate multi-component analysis, with online capabilities for process monitoring.

Bruker's FT-NIR line includes TANGO and MPA III for lab and at-line use, and MATRIX-F II and BEAM for process control.

Tango

Introducing TANGO: your go-to solution for fast and easy FT-NIR spectroscopy. Built for industrial use, TANGO delivers robustness, precision, and straightforward operation. Its intuitive interface guides users seamlessly through workflows, ensuring even untrained staff can operate it securely and error-free.

MPA III

MPA III: The FT-NIR Multi Purpose Analyzer

MPA III is a powerful tool for developing sophisticated calibration methods for your laboratory or process needs, yet an easy to use QA/QC instrument for routine work. With its modular technology, it can be configured individually for each analytical task.

ProxiScout

The BUCHI ProxiScout is a rugged, handheld FT-NIR analyser that brings laboratory-grade near-infrared measurement directly to the field, silo or production line. With the widest portable NIR spectral range on the market, it delivers multi-parameter quantification (moisture, fat, protein, ash, fibre, amino acids and more) from a single non-destructive scan of feed, food, dairy or pharmaceutical raw materials. The instrument uses FT-NIR interferometer technology in the 1350-2550 nm range - the same higher-NIR region traditionally reserved for laboratory bench analysers - which provides high sensitivity for major nutritional and quality parameters even in complex, heterogeneous samples. Three dedicated sample-presentation kits (a precision dish for powders and grounds, transflectance vials for clear and opaque liquids, and a rotating cup for granular non-homogeneous solids) ensure reproducible measurement geometry for every material type. The MIL-PRF-2800 Class 2 certification, dust- and moisture-resistant housing, and long-life 18650 Li-Ion battery (up to 800 scans per charge) allow continuous use in harsh production environments. A companion mobile application controls the instrument, stores results locally when offline and syncs to the cloud when connectivity is restored, giving buyers, QA inspectors and process technicians immediate access to actionable data at the point of measurement.

Key specifications:

• Spectral range: 1350-2550 nm (FT-NIR) - widest portable range on the market

• Rugged construction certified to MIL-PRF-2800 Class 2

• Battery life: up to 800 scans per charge (two 18650 Li-Ion cells)

• Three dedicated sample-presentation kits: powders/grounds, liquids (transflectance), rotating cup for granular solids

• Mobile application with offline measurement capability

• Multi-parameter quantification in a single measurement

• Ergonomic, lightweight design for continuous field use

Applications:

• Feed and forage QC (protein, moisture, fat, fibre, amino acids)

• Grain and cereal reception at silos and processing plants

• Dairy raw material and finished product control

• Food ingredient verification and incoming inspection

• Pharmaceutical raw material identification
