LGC Standards is a global supplier of certified reference materials, custom reference standards and proficiency testing (PT) schemes, serving pharmaceutical, food, environmental, forensic and life-science laboratories. The portfolio is built from several specialist brands under the LGC umbrella. TRC supplies a broad range of research chemicals and analytical standards for method development. Mikromol offers more than 5,000 reference standards dedicated to pharmaceutical quality control. Dr. Ehrenstorfer provides reference materials for food and environmental analysis, including pesticides, mycotoxins and contaminants. VHG produces high-purity single- and multi-element reference materials for ICP, ICP-MS and AAS with documented accuracy and traceability, distributed together with ARMI|MBH and Paragon Scientific under the LGC Industrial banner. ChromaDex phytochemical reference materials are now also part of the LGC range.

LGC AXIO Proficiency Testing lets laboratories order PT rounds directly through the LGC webshop; the schemes are operated within LGC's UKAS-accredited scope to ISO/IEC 17043, the international standard for the competence of PT providers, while LGC's reference-material production is carried out to ISO/IEC 17025. Beyond off-the-shelf catalogue items, LGC accepts custom requests for reference standards that are not part of the standard range, and its stable isotope-labelled standards (SILs) support forensic, toxicological and clinical method development and validation in blood, plasma and urine matrices.
