Elvatech Benchtop XRF

A benchtop XRF spectrometer is a compact, high-precision X-ray fluorescence analyzer that stands on a laboratory bench or production-line table. Unlike a handheld XRF gun, it measures inside a fully enclosed chamber with fixed, stable geometry and advanced X-ray optics, which gives excellent repeatability, very low detection limits and comfortable routine operation across a wide range of sample types – solids, loose powders, pressed pellets, films and liquids.

Typical applications include identification of alloy grades and melt control in metals and alloys, sulfur and other element determination in oil and petrochemical products, control of raw materials and finished cement, RoHS screening of electronics and plastics, analysis of gold, silver and platinum alloys and detection of hazardous elements such as cadmium or nickel in jewelry, and analysis of soils, sediments and ores for environmental and geological work.

Every benchtop XRF analyzer from Elvatech is a fully enclosed system with interlocks that prevent operation while the chamber is open, keeping operator dose negligible without any special room shielding. Final configuration – X-ray tube type and power, detector type and size, need for helium purge for light elements, number of calibrations and optional sample changers – is matched to the customer's specific analytical tasks.
