OHAUS Guardian 2000 hotplates and stirrers are rugged, reliable analog units for general-purpose heating and stirring, ideal for education and other laboratory environments requiring affordable, everyday fast heating and reliable stirring up to 15 L. All three sizes offer simple knob control for adjusting heating and stirring functions, with a durable housing including a built-in support-rod holder that accepts an optional support rod, and stirring models include PTFE-coated stir bars. Powerful stirring and fast heating are delivered at an economical price, with safe heating up to 500°C, a rugged metal housing with a spill-resistant design and smooth, chemical-resistant ceramic top for easy clean-up, and a prominent hot-top indicator light that illuminates above 40°C to keep users safe.
