Ohaus Mini

The OHAUS Frontier 5000 Series Mini, the Frontier 5306, is a powerful and convenient mini centrifuge for simple, quick life-science liquid separation, small but capable of speeds from 0 to 6,000 rpm and a maximum relative centrifugal force of 2,000 x g. An 8-place 1.5/2 mL tube rotor plus a 4-place PCR 8-strip tube rotor let it accommodate 0.2 mL 8-strip tubes or 32 individual PCR tubes, with an included adapter also fitting 0.2 mL and 0.5 mL tubes into the 8-place rotor. A low-voltage power input, quiet brushless motor and vibration-absorbing rubber base minimize operational noise, while a rotor-imbalance sensor and two safety switches immediately stop the rotor if the lid opens during use, and simple one-step operation begins rotation as soon as the sample is placed and the lid closed.
