Euromex Stereo

A Euromex stereo (dissecting) microscope is an optical microscope with a fixed or adjustable zoom objective, designed for observing samples at relatively low magnification, typically 2.5 to 90 times and up to 300 times on specialist models. Unlike a standard compound microscope, it uses two separate optical paths to produce a distinct image for each eye; the brain combines these two images into a single view with real depth of field, making it easy to judge the height and contour of a specimen. This stereoscopic, three-dimensional view is what makes the instrument so effective for examining solid, opaque specimens rather than thin transparent slides.
