The Pol-Lab Table-Top Fume Hood SQ-L is designed to protect laboratory personnel against toxic, foul-smelling fumes, gases and dust emitted during work with aggressive chemical substances (except explosive substances such as ether with hydrofluoride or silicofluoride compounds), using minimal space and resources. Its frame is high-quality, epoxy-powder-coated steel with a MAX RESISTANCE phenolic-resin worktop, VSG safety-glass side walls in an anodized aluminum frame, and a 20 mm foamed-PVC rear wall, with a single ceiling-mounted fume extractor and deflector ensuring uniform air flow throughout the chamber. The tempered-glass sliding window moves both horizontally and vertically via a counterweight on steel cables for easy access and clean extractors, IP44-rated lighting sits outside the working chamber, and a roof hatch provides safe discharge of any shock wave from an in-chamber explosion.
