Bionet Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF) Systems
Advanced filtration solutions designed for bioprocessing applications, including protein concentration, diafiltration, and cell harvesting. Engineered for efficiency and scalability, these systems provide precise control over filtration parameters, ensuring high product yield and purity.

The Bionet M1 is a membrane-agnostic tangential flow filtration (TFF) system that forms the basis for scale-up to 500 L. The base M1 model features a 5-litre vessel suitable for various small-scale applications, remote software control via Rosita from computer or phone, and a compact design ideal for labs with limited space. The M1 PLUS steps up to a 10-litre vessel with greater experimental capacity, integrated software accessed through an included Chromebook, and trolley mounting for easy movement around the lab. Both units are best-in-class for laboratory work where membrane configuration is still unknown, and a unique workhorse in multi-purpose pilot plants, guaranteeing consistent, reproducible results with an expanded filtration area supporting both ceramic and hollow-fibre filters, plus direct connection to a pilot fermenter for efficient operation.
Key features:
• Membrane-agnostic TFF platform forming the basis for scale-up to 500 L
• M1: 5 L vessel, compact footprint, remote Rosita software control
• M1 PLUS: 10 L vessel, integrated Chromebook software, trolley-mounted mobility
• Expanded filtration area supporting both ceramic and hollow-fibre filters
• Direct connection to pilot fermenters for efficient, integrated operation
Typical applications:
• Concentration and clarification of biomass and biomolecules
• Microbial fermentation and cell-culture process development
• Multi-purpose pilot plants requiring flexible membrane configuration

User-friendly design: All the components of the MS systems are easily accessible for maintenance tasks or manual operations involving a filtration process.Optimal quality and product integrity: MS systems incorporate pumping technology that is specifically adapted to the nature of the product, ensuring gentle and effective processing.Versatility in application-specific customisation: There are different operating modes depending on the variable that needs to be controlled (TMP, permeate flow, diafiltration volume, etc.). All MS systems can be designed to be operated at the mode set to the user's requirements.Adaptability: Membrane technology (tubular ceramic, hollow fibre, cassettes, spiral) integrated into MS systems that suits your application the best.Enhanced performance: MS systems are configured with the required flow transmitters to keep these parameters under control.Consistent filtration rate: MS systems can be equipped with optional cooling and/or heating capabilities via jacketed recirculation vessels and/or dedicated in-line heat exchangers to maintain the desired temperature throughout the process.High yield and concentration factor: MS systems are designed to minimize hold-up volume in these scenarios, which may involve integrating the recirculation vessel within the same skid as the TFF system to optimize performance.
