Ultrasonic baths

Ultrasonic baths and homogenizers are essential for various tasks, from cleaning to homogenizing. SONOREX baths are easy to use, while SONOPULS homogenizers provide rapid results. Specialized cleaning solutions like TICKOPUR and STAMMOPUR maintain their effectiveness and protect materials.

Bandelin Ultrasonic baths

BANDELIN offers a range of ultrasonic cleaning devices spanning small models for daily use in a medical practice up to larger ultrasonic baths with extended tank volume, with differences between models found less in cleaning power and more in size, equipment and operating concept. The SONOREX smart ST line takes BANDELIN's proven ultrasonic devices and enhances them with new technology and comfort functions, the SONOREX Digitec DT offers a user-friendly, easy-to-wipe keypad for simple cleaning-duration settings, and the robust, compact SONOREX Super RK series stands out for comfortable operability. High-frequency ultrasonic waves generate millions of cavitation bubbles in the liquid that implode under pressure, releasing even the most stubborn contamination and the finest dirt from a surface — a physical principle that enables even, reproducible cleaning that is gentle, efficient and reaches into the smallest angles, with every device made in Germany with a stainless-steel housing.

Key features:

• SONOREX smart ST, Digitec DT and Super RK series for different needs

• Cavitation-based cleaning reaching the smallest angles and crevices

• Even, reproducible and gentle cleaning action

• Stainless-steel housing, made in Germany

• Range from small practice-scale to large-tank industrial models

Typical applications:

• Cleaning of laboratory glassware, instruments and small parts

• Medical and dental practice instrument cleaning

• Industrial manufacturing processes requiring precise, documented cleaning

Bandelin Ultrasonic Homogenizers

BANDELIN SONOPULS ultrasonic homogenizers, available in the HD 4000 and HD 5000 series, are used for homogenizing, deagglomerating, emulsifying, suspending, accelerating chemical reactions and slurrying cells, bacteria, fungi or spores, with greatly reduced process times and quickly available, reproducible results that make them indispensable for modern processing and analytics. The AMPLICHRON circuit guarantees a constant amplitude independent of changing conditions, with amplitude control adjustable from 10-100%, while sonotrodes transmit the mechanical vibrations into the sample and an ultrasonic transducer converts electrical energy from the generator into these mechanical vibrations. Cavitation bubbles generated by the ultrasound create high shear forces that break up cells, with the desired degree of disintegration set simply by varying sonication duration, and a level indicator ensures safe, accurate filling of the unit.

Key features:

• HD 4000 and HD 5000 series ultrasonic homogenizer lines

• AMPLICHRON circuit for constant amplitude regardless of load conditions

• Amplitude control adjustable from 10% to 100%

• Interchangeable sonotrodes for different sample volumes and applications

• Level indicator for safe, accurate unit filling

Typical applications:

• Homogenization, deagglomeration and emulsification of samples

• Cell, bacteria, fungi and spore disruption for extraction protocols

• Acceleration of chemical reactions requiring ultrasonic energy

Bandelin Preperation

BANDELIN offers TICKOPUR and STAMMOPUR, a comprehensive range of cleaning and disinfection preparations specifically matched to ultrasonic bath procedures, since optimal cleaning results and effective disinfection depend on using preparations tuned to this method. TICKOPUR's cavitation-promoting properties enable the maximum effect of the ultrasonic process, and using TICKOPUR cleaning preparations in an ultrasonic bath significantly shortens cleaning time. STAMMOPUR preparations contain special active and auxiliary substances that achieve a disinfecting effect while gently treating the item being cleaned, with the time reduction and lower dosage in the ultrasonic bath confirmed by external assessments; both lines are biodegradable.

Key features:

• TICKOPUR — cavitation-promoting cleaning preparations for maximum ultrasonic effect

• STAMMOPUR — disinfecting preparations that are gentle on the material being cleaned

• Externally verified reduction in cleaning time and dosage

• Biodegradable formulations

• Made by BANDELIN, a German family business specializing in ultrasonic technology since 1955

Typical applications:

• Ultrasonic cleaning of laboratory glassware and instruments

• Disinfection procedures requiring material-gentle treatment

• Medical, dental and laboratory ultrasonic bath cleaning protocols
