The non-digital model offers variable speed control, and the digital model allows input of exact speed and time to achieve repeatable results every time, while the pulsing model features a unique pulse action that reduces heat generation and provides more effective mixing and cell disruption, and the fixed-speed model gives simple one-touch, high-speed mixing for repeat applications. Touch-mode operation activates mixing when the cup head is depressed, or continuous mode can be used with accessory attachments, with a sturdy, rugged design keeping the unit in place during use and effective speed control from low rpm for gentle shaking to high-speed mixing for vigorous vortexing.

The innovative locking design of the microplate accessories allows safe operation across the entire speed range, driven by a high-quality German-manufactured motor for reliable, continuous-duty operation. Digital models offer a timer and exact speed control from 300 to 3,500 rpm (touch mode) for repeatable results, while non-digital variable-speed models provide an economical alternative, and the small 3.5 mm orbit and high speed make these mixers optimal for effectively mixing up to two microplates at once.

OHAUS Multi-Tube Vortex Mixers are ideal for hands-free, high-throughput sample processing, with interchangeable foam racks available for vortexing tubes from 10 to 29 mm in diameter and strong suction-cup feet reducing motion and preventing sliding for safe lab operation. Up to 50 samples can be processed at once, customizable with six different tube racks and a post-extension kit, in either an easy-to-clean one-piece stainless-steel housing suited to clean rooms or a more economical painted-steel version. Digital models offer exact speed control from 500 to 2,500 rpm for repeatable results and a programmable pulse mode with adjustable pulse-on/pulse-off timing to enhance vortex action for difficult samples, while non-digital models (1,200-2,400 rpm) provide a variable-speed alternative.
