The BUCHI HydrolEx H-506 is a semi-automated acid hydrolysis instrument designed for compliant total fat determination in food and feed samples. It breaks down matrix structures that enclose bound fat fractions, enabling accurate reference analysis according to Weibull-Stoldt and AOAC methods. Integrated with the FatExtractor E-500 or UniversalExtractor E-800, the H-506 delivers a complete workflow from hydrolysis through parallel filtration to Soxhlet-based extraction with minimal manual handling.
