Pure Excellence Chromatography System

The BUCHI Pure Excellence Chromatography System is a modular, fully automated purification platform for research and process-development laboratories. Available in four configurations (C-905, C-910, C-915 and C-950), the series covers everything from routine flash chromatography to combined flash and preparative HPLC on a single instrument. A three-piston pump delivers pulse-free flow, while quick-release cartridge holders with universal Luer connections allow rapid method changes between prefilled cartridges and reusable glass columns.

Key specifications:

• Flow rate: up to 300 mL/min in flash mode; up to 150 mL/min in prep HPLC mode (C-950)

• Pressure: 0-50 bar in flash mode; up to 400 bar in prep HPLC mode (C-950)

• UV detection: fixed 254 / 275 / 325 / 365 nm (C-905) or full scan 200-800 nm (C-910 / C-915 / C-950)

• ELSD detector with patented direct nano-pulse injection, only 30 uL/min sample loss (C-915, C-950)

• Cartridge sizes from 4 g to 5,000 g; glass columns up to 100 mm ID x 900 mm length

• Automated priming, equilibration, sample loading, elution and rinsing

• C-905 - entry-level flash system with four fixed UV wavelengths

• C-910 - flash system with full UV scan 200-800 nm
