Trace Elemental XPERT TOC/TNb

The Xpert TOC/TNb is a fully automatic elemental combustion analyzer from TRACE (TE Instruments) that measures Total Organic Carbon (TOC) and Total Bound Nitrogen (TNb) simultaneously from a single liquid-sample injection, delivering results within minutes. It can be configured as a combined TOC/TNb analyzer or as a single-parameter instrument, and it integrates the liquids autosampler and the TN detector into the analyzer's own footprint, so no separate module or extra bench space is needed — a liquids autosampler is included as standard with every Xpert.

Key features include valve-less sample introduction, which eliminates carryover even with particle-containing samples; the ability to switch from high-ppm to low-ppb concentrations within a single run; a ProCAT combustion tube that ensures complete oxidation of the sample for accurate, consistent results; and TEIS analytical software for straightforward instrument control. The analyzer follows the high-temperature catalytic combustion method and complies with the relevant international standards, including ASTM D5176, D7573 and D8083, EN 12260, EPA 415.1, ISO 20236 and 11905, and Standard Methods 5310B.
